SANTA FE (AP) - A Santa Fe doctor who authorities say was driving drunk when she crashed and killed a four-year-old girl is seeking to keep her driver's license.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports ( http://bit.ly/HO4Rbf ) that an attorney for the 56-year-old Deborah Aaron argued Wednesday during a revocation hearing that his client wasn't charged with drunken driving so her license should not be revoked.
She was released on a $100,000 cash bond after being arraigned on a charge of vehicular homicide in January.
Aaron's Land Rover hit the passenger side of a minivan driven by Yuliana Reyes Vasquez's mother, Karla Vasquez. Yuliana was killed, and her mother and sister were injured.
The hearing officer will make a decision in the next 30 days whether or not Aarons can keep her driver's license.
