ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Another parent is accused of leaving their child with strangers at a bus stop.
Witnesses say the 13-month-old was left near Carlisle Boulevard SE and Gibson Boulevard for about half an hour.
Someone called police.
When they arrived they say they found Christopher Jackson, 24, running away pushing the child in a stroller.
Officers said they ordered him to stop several times, but he led them on a short chase all with the toddler in tow.
Police did eventually stop Jackson but said he bit one officer.
It appeared Jackson was either high or drunk, they reported.
The child was released to the custody of her mother.
Last week police arrested Elvira Ann Smith , 34, after she left her baby with strangers at a bus stop on Central Avenue near San Mateo Boulevard and walked away.
