ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A parolee is being sought as an accomplice in the shooting that injured two bouncers at an Albuquerque strip club early Saturday morning.

Albuquerque police also would like to find the black Hummer H3 driven in the shooting.  It may have its rear window shot out or recently replaced.

The two bouncers each took a bullet to the leg and are recovering.

On Wednesday the Gang Unit of the Albuquerque Police Department Special Investigations Division tracked down Isaac Montoya, 33, at a local hotel and arrested him as the suspected gunman in the shooting.

Then on Friday police named Richard Gallegos, 31, as Montoya's accomplice.  He is a known gang member with a criminal record that includes a conviction for narcotics trafficking and multiple arrests for aggravated battery, armed robbery and other charges, according to police

He is now also wanted for violating his parole on the narcotics conviction, police said.

Police described Gallegos as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds with "NM" tattooed in large letters on the front of his neck.

Anyone with information on Gallegos or the Hummer can contact Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers at 843-STOP (843-7867).  Callers do not have to give their names.
