ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Charges have been dropped against the man accused of killing a man before setting him on fire.

Joe Gallegos and his brother, Andrew, were arrested and charged in the death of Adrian Burns .  Investigators say the brothers killed Burns before taking him out to the Bosque in Socorro County where they set him and his car on fire.

According to the El Defensor Chieftain a judge found no probably cause to bind the case against Joe Gallegos during a preliminary hearing Thursday and dropped the charges against Gallegos.

The Socorro District Attorney says charges can be brought up again if more evidence is collected.

Gallegos was released from custody Friday.
