CARSLBAD, N.M. (KRQE) - Police are investigating a homicide in Carlsbad after a man is found dead.

Around 1 o’clock Sunday morning Carlsbad police were called out to the 1700 block of south Canal Street after reports of a shooting.

Police say that's where they found 20-year-old Adrian Fierro dead from a gunshot wound to his head.

Several people were interviewed, but very little is known about what happened or who pulled the trigger.
