Bond raised for wife accused of murder

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A judge has increased the bond of a woman accused of murdering her Air Force Major husband by $100 and ordered her to be put on an ankle monitor.
Amy Herrera claimed that on July 1 of this year, her suicidal husband forced her to shoot him in the head. Although according to court documents detectives found that her story didn’t quite add up.
In October Herrera was charged with the murder of her husband, Air Force Major Marc Herrera.
Police say a friend came forward saying that Amy Herrera had confessed to killing Marc.
At this time there is no information available as to a motive in the killing.
