Body found in northwest ABQ

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - APD is investigating a homicide after a passerby spotted a body early Sunday morning on Coors Boulevard, near Eagle Ranch.
             
Around 6:30 a.m. someone called 911 saying they saw a body lying on the shoulder of Coors.
    
When police arrived the person was unresponsive.
    
Police are not releasing much but say the victim they believe to be a woman sustained some sort of trauma.
         
Right now police are awaiting information for the office of the medical investigator to determine the age of the victim and a possible identity.
    
Police are also waiting for OMI to determine a cause of death.
   
At this time, no suspects have been named.
