ESPAÑOLA, N.M. (KRQE) - A Texas motorcyclist died in a crash in Rio Arriba County over the weekend.
Sheriff's deputies say a group of Bandidos motorcycle club members was behind a line of cars early Sunday afternoon driving south on U.S. Highway 84 near Medanales.
They say James "Stone Cold" Allison, 37, of Round Rock, Texas, tried to pass the slower traffic and hit a Honda Accord that started to make a left turn in front of him.
Allison died at the scene about 12 miles northwest of Española.
The driver of the Accord has not been named and apparently was not injured or cited.
Deputies don't believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.
