ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A San Felipe Pueblo man was arrested Wednesday accused of robbing a bank in nearby Bernalillo on Tuesday.

The FBI reported Curtis James Reano, 34, was to make his initial court appearance before a federal magistrate sometime on Wednesday.

Additional information on the arrest was expected to be released after the court appearance.

Witnesses told investigators the robber walked into the Wells Fargo bank on U.S. 550 in Bernalillo shortly before noon on Tuesday.  The robber gave the teller a note demanding money and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The FBI said officers from the Bernalillo, Bureau of Indian Affairs and Santo Domingo Pueblo police departments participated in the investigation.
