APD searches for burglary suspect

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police swarmed a neighborhood north of downtown Albuquerque Wednesday afternoon after burglars were spotted breaking into a home.
The call came in about 1:45 p.m. reporting the attempted break-in at a home near Eighth Street NW and Bellamah Avenue. Police set up a perimeter and called in the Metro One helicopter.
Shortly before 4 p.m. police reported one suspect in custody with the search continuing for the second person.
