ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man who raped a 6-year-old girl at a gym will be back in front of a judge Thursday.

A hearing is scheduled for Juan Gonzalez, the man who admitted to attacking the child at the mid-town Sports and Wellness in 2010.

It was the third child he's confessed to raping.

The first two rapes happened when Gonzalez was 13-years-old. He was ruled mentally incompetent and the charges were dropped.

Gonzalez, who is from Mexico and in the U.S. illegally, faces 36 years in a mental hospital because of his condition.
