ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A noise complaint turns violent after police say an Albuquerque man stabbed his neighbor because the victim's niece was too loud.
Marco Rodriquez faced a judge Saturday on attempted murder charges.
Police say Thursday night Rodriguez was in an apartment below the victim's.
The victim's sister told detectives shortly after her daughter began jumping in the living room Rodriguez and two others stormed her apartment.
The woman told police two people held her brother as Rodriguez stabbed him.
“The allegations of the complaint are very, very serious it’s a difficult complaint to read I’m going to set your bond at one million dollars cash only,” Judge Daniel Ramczyk said.
Rodriquez is also being held by another judge because of a prior domestic violence case.
