ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police out patrolling for drunk drivers say this man not only put other drivers in danger, he had his young son with him.

Officers say 43-year-old Anthony Hopper was so drunk he sat at a green light for almost an entire minute.

Police pulled him over on golf course and paradise Friday night and say he reeked of booze.

After failing field sobriety tests, he was arrested.

Hopper faced a judge Sunday on child abuse charges because officers say he had his 10-year-old son in the car with him that night.
