ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KRQE) - PNM is warning 18,000 customers in Alamogordo to expect a brief power outage early Saturday morning.
The outage is planned for 4 a.m. to make repairs at a substation on Eddy Drive, according to a statement from PNM.
The outage may only last a few minutes but could take longer.
PNM said the repairs are necessary to prevent future outages and cannot be made while the substation is energized.
