ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A new company is coming to Albuquerque and it is promising 50 jobs now and up to 200 in the future.
New Mexicans should expect to see more military planes in the sky.
Air USA, a company that trains fighter pilots and hires veterans, announced their move to Albuquerque Wednesday inside a giant hanger.
The company said they wanted to come to New Mexico because of all the military veterans living in Albuquerque.
Governor Martinez said her tax incentives helped move Air USA headquarters here from Illinois.
Air USA is a government contractor that provides defense services for our military.
They will join other aviation industries in the city.
”It will really benefit Albuquerque the base here Kirtland but also it with Holloman and happy to have them in Albuquerque,” Mayor R.J. Berry said.
It is unsure when they expect to move.
This announcement comes on the heels of the New Mexico Finance Authority to allow another c ompany to move into Schott Solar's facility at Mesa Del Sol.
