ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Lowe's officially announced Tuesday it is expanding the company's existing customer support center here in Albuquerque adding 300 jobs.
The facility represents a total investment of $25 million, and plans are for approximately 900 employees to be working at the customer support center on Jefferson Street NE by the end of 2014.
"We've really been open about eight months, and we weren't expecting this building to be full until the end of next year," Don Easterling of Lowe's said. "But it will be full by mid-year next year. That's why we're expanding into another building."
Renovations for the expansion began in late October. The target date for completion is next March.
