SANTA FE (KRQE) - It will be cheaper to see the burning of Old Man Gloom this year after complaints about last year's annual event in Santa Fe.

Organizer Ray Sandoval says the Kiwanis Club has decided to lower the cost to see Zozobra burn to $10.

Last year it cost 20 bucks to watch the giant puppet and people's worries go up in flames .

The date has been set for Sept. 5, which is a Thursday.

There had been talk of moving the burning to Friday night, but Sandoval says the club decided against that.
