ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A group of New Mexicans say the Spaceport needs saving because New Mexico has not passed a law to protect suppliers and manufacturers.

The group Save Our Spaceport is meeting Thursday in Albuquerque.

The law would protect manufacturers from liability lawsuits.

Members say Texas, Colorado, Florida and Virginia have passed the legislation.

The group's concerned companies like Virgin Glactic might move if the law is not passed.
