ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Officials say an Australian company will not come to the city of Clovis' rescue.
The company was in talks to take over the defunct plant that was supposed to be opened by Beauty Healthy and Science Innovations.
The city invested $1.8 million in the project, but BHSI never held up its end of the bargain, which was to not only open but provide 300 jobs.
The city says it will now likely liquidate the assets of the company and try to recoup as much of their investment as possible.
