Booze sales stopped at convenience store

SANTA FE (KRQE) - A Giant convenience store in Santa Fe can no longer sell alcohol because it is too close to a school.
The Giant is located on Airport Road is near Sweeney Elementary School.
State District Judge Ray Ortiz signed the order Tuesday.
The Santa Fe city council had voted to deny liquor sales at the store last year, but it took some time for attorneys to agree on exact wording.
