ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque’s “Comic Con” appears to be a success. The festival is the product of comic book fan Jim Burleson, who spent $60,000 of his own money to bring the comic book convention to the Albuquerque Hilton.
The Event includes stars from the comic world, writers, producers, screen stars and fans.
The convention organizer hopes to attract 10,000 people throughout the festival.
Albuquerque’s Comic Con ended Sunday Jan. 16.
