Pepper finds new home in California

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Great news for the dog Pepper he finally has a new home at the Grace Foundation in northern California.

Steve Dobbie found the little guy after Pepper was on the run for eight months.

He was adopted from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter but ran away days later.

Pepper got to his new home Sunday and even got a welcome party.

Dobbie's wife says pepper will now get a lot of love and attention that should help his trust issues.
