MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (CNN/WDIV) - A Michigan man marked his 70th birthday by jumping out of a plane. But he didn't do it just once. Larry Ekstrom made 70 jumps to celebrate his big day.

He's been skydiving for 46 years.

Ten years ago he rang in his 60th by skydiving 60 times.

Ekstrom says he plans to continue pushing the age boundary as long as possible.

"It's just another milestone and proves somebody can do something," he said.

Ekstrom wasn't just jumping for himself. He also did it for a good cause. He raised money for a charity called Leader Dogs for the Blind.
