DeWyze, Bowersox prep for summer tour

BURBANK, Calif. (AP) - Lee DeWyze says it's the little things that remind him he won "American Idol." He says "like waking up and going to work," because now his "job is way different."

He adds a laugh to that comment. DeWyze is writing music for his upcoming album and rehearing for the "American Idols Live" tour, which starts July 1.

Crystal Bowersox's little boy won't be coming with her on the "American Idols Live" tour because of "liability and insurance reasons." She says "that's fine" because the tour would be tough on him.

And, Bowersox, who just signed with Jive Records, has a new tattoo on her inner left wrist.

It's a version of the medical ID symbol and says "Type 1 Diabetic." She says it's a reminder "of the responsibility" she says she now has "as a person in the spotlight to show kids that there are no limitations no matter what" on what you can achieve in life.
