ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - No one in New Mexico won the Powerball jackpot, but at least two residents are about to become millionaires.
    
There is a winning ticket out there for $2 million and a $1 million ticket, but the winners have not come forward.

Altogether, New Mexico lottery players won more than $3.4 million in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing.
    
The winning numbers are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and a red Powerball of 6. 
    
There were more than 66,000 winning tickets in New Mexico.
    
If someone has a winning ticket, they are encouraged to sign their ticket immediately.
    
The million dollar winners have 90 days to claim their prize in person at lottery headquarters in Albuquerque.    
    
The New Mexico Lottery says it's sold nine winning tickets for $1 million or more, so far this year.
         
A winning ticket for the $587 million jackpot was sold in Arizona and one in Kansas City, Missouri.
    
It is not known if individuals or groups who bought those tickets.
    
The shops that sold the winning Powerball tickets also get $50,000.
    
More than $4.9 million in tickets were sold between Sunday and 8 p.m. Wednesday, which means more than $1.5 million, will go toward New Mexico’s Legislative Lottery scholarships.
    
The New Mexico Lottery wants to point out sales for other lottery games go down when there's a huge Powerball jackpot like this, so it is not necessarily a major gain.
    
They have raised more than $540 million for education since 1996.
