(CNN) - Looks like Facebook has a new friend request. A new report reveals that the social media company has contributed more to the GOP campaign this election.

Facebook has so far contributed $140,000 to Republicans compared with $127,000 to Democrats, according to a CNN Money review of federal records.

The social media giant is not alone, though. Microsoft, Cisco and eBay also contributed more to Republicans this election season. Overall, the tech industry has doled out about $330,000 more to Republicans than to Democrats.
