Question submitted 10/15/2010:
I have a Carrier Furnace. This year after switching over around three weeks ago. I noticed three nights ago the blower stopped working. Is there a fuse or reset switch that would help. I noticed there is a fuse in the wiring. How might I find out?
Answer from Academy Plumbing:
If the furnace is newer than 1995 there is a fuse in the circuit board which will stop everything from working. Also the circuit board maybe bad on the blower section. You will be looking for a 5 amp automotive fuse.
