Raven Brings Sock It To Me Cake From Black Bird Pie Shoppe

KASA - Sock It To Me Cake

 3 cups flour unleveled

3 cups sugar

1 cup butter

3 Tbs baking powder

¼ tsp salt

6 eggs

2 cups milk

1 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar, butter and vanilla together

Add all dry ingredients with eggs and milk, mix well

Pour half the mixture into the tube pan, floured

Add filling (see below) and then add remaining cake batter 

Bake 45 mins at 350

 

Filling:

4 Tbs brown sugar ( heaping)

2 Tbs cinnamon

¼ cup pecans

 Drizzle:

3 cups powdered sugar

4 Tbs milk

¼ vanilla

Mix and drizzle over cooled cake, and Sock It to yourself!
