LOS ANGELES - The Frank Lloyd Wright house featured in "Blade Runner," "House on Haunted Hill" and "Grand Canyon" is being put up for sale.

The Ennis House, located in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz, is being sold for $15 million by the private foundation that's been restoring it, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"My grandfather designed homes to be occupied by people," Eric Lloyd Wright, the architect's grandson and member of the nonprofit Ennis House Foundation board, said in a statement to the Times. "His homes are works of art. He created the space, but the space becomes a creative force and uplifts when it is lived in every day."

Formerly occupied by Charles and Mabel Ennis, owners of a men's clothing store, the 1924 house is the largest Wright designed in his "textile block" style. After switching ownership several times over the years, the house suffered from neglect and was heavily damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake and rainstorms.

The board is now hoping to find a buyer who is willing to continue the restoration work. One of the conditions to the sale of the house is that there would be limited public access to the property.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Ennis House was inspired by the ruins of Uxmal, Mexico and was constructed using 27,000 blocks with different designs.
