ALBUQUERQUE (KASA) - For more than a decade the Holocaust and Intolerance Museum of New Mexico has worked to educate the public about the history of genocide. Founded by Holocaust Survivor Werner Gellert and his late wife Frances, the museum shows how hate and intolerance lead to violence. The Holocaust Museum contains a number of exhibits on Hitler and Nazi Germany including a Czechoslovakian Torah which is one of 15-hundred-64 scrolls salvaged from historic Czech synagogues left destroyed and deserted following the Nazi invasion.
