FOX - For his work on 24, which enters its eighth season in January 2010, Kiefer Sutherland has earned Emmys, Golden Globes and SAG Awards, including Best Actor in a Drama Series nominations for seasons one through six. More recently, Sutherland earned an Emmy nomination in 2009 for Outstanding Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his work on “24: Redemption.”
In 2009, Sutherland loaned his voice talents to the animated hit “Monsters vs. Aliens” alongside Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett and Stephen Colbert. Last year, Sutherland starred in “Mirrors,” and in 2006, he appeared in “I Trust You to Kill Me,” a documentary following Ironwork’s Rocco DeLuca and the Burden.
His credits include “The Sentinel” opposite Michael Douglas and Kim Basinger, “Taking Lives” with Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke, “Phone Booth,” “To End All Wars,” “Dark City,” “Truth or Consequences, N.M.” (which he also directed), “Eye for an Eye,” “A Time to Kill,” “The Three Musketeers,” “A Few Good Men,” “The Vanishing,” “The Lost Boys,” “Young Guns” and “Stand By Me.” Sutherland also narrated “NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience.”
His television credits include the critically acclaimed original cable dramas “A Soldier’s Sweetheart” and “Last Light.” Sutherland’s other credits include the cable film “Bay Boy” (which earned him a Genie Award nomination for Best Actor), “The Mission,” “Amazing Stories” and “Trapped in Silence.”
Sutherland divides his time between Los Angeles and New York.
