(KASA) - American Idol is sending Albuquerque singer Tamra Salmon to Hollywood.

More than 9,000 turned out in the Mile High City in Denver, Co. to audition for Season 9 of American Idol where auditions took place at INVESCO Field.

Congratulations to Tamra Salmon of Albuquerque, N.M. who captured a "Golden Ticket"; watch Tamra's Golden Ticket interview .
