ALBUQUERQUE (KASA) - What is the Face?

One lucky person will win one year’s employment at KASA FOX 2 and be named New Mexico’s Face of KASA FOX 2. Our new Face will tape on-air messages about KASA FOX 2 programs, clients and projects which will air frequently on the station. Our Face will also appear at various station events and will appear on and/or produce content for local programs on KASA.com.

The Face will be a part-time contract employee of KASA FOX 2 and be paid a minimum of $25,000 for the contract year.

Who can enter?

Any New Mexico resident 21 or over who has a current New Mexico driver’s license and has no criminal record.

How do I enter?

Cut a one to two minute (120 seconds maximum) video tape and show us why YOU would be the perfect Face of KASA FOX 2.

Be crazy, be excited, be YOU! Enthusiasm and personality are what we’re looking for! Improvise, and remember, you’ll be talking about some KASA FOX 2 shows AND talking about fun events around town AND encouraging New Mexico to join you for special projects on KASA FOX 2 and KASA.com AND you’ll be doing commercials for and profiling top businesses around the state!

Submit your video online right here on KASA.com. You will need to provide all information on the video uplink form as well as completing a Face of Fox release form.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO IS Friday April 16, 2010.

When can I enter?

Videos will be accepted on KASA.com starting Monday, February 22, 2010.

How do I win?

Every week, visitors to KASA.com will rank their favorite videos. Results will be posted weekly. On Monday April 19, 2010 the entrant’s video most viewed overall on www.KASA.com will be named a Top 10 finalist.

By Monday, April 26 2010 a panel of experts assembled by KASA FOX 2 will choose the remaining 9 Top 10 Face Finalists.

Face Finalists will have one week to do e-campaigns and add content to the KASA.com site and do e-campaigns to prove THEY are the best Face.

Face Finalists will also be asked to cut another audition video. Each Top 10 Finalist will be expected to maintain an individual Twitter account and provide That Twitter feed to KASA.com for use on the entrant’s Face of FOX bio page.

In addition, each Top 10 Finalist must also make available to KASA.com any additional social media tools they are using during the contest.

Starting Thursday May 6 and going through Friday May 14, one Finalist will be eliminated every day by a combination of popular on-line viewing (25%) AND expert panel in-put (75%).

The Final Three Finalists will be asked to come to KASA FOX 2 studios to audition live for judges.

Eliminated Finalists will be featured LIVE on KRQE NEWS 13 Mornings with Mike, Jason & Deanna the morning after they are voted out of the competition.

On Wednesday, May 19 2010 the winning Face from the final three contestants will be announced during KRQE News 13 at 9 on KASA FOX 2.
