(KASA) - KASA FOX 2 is a commercial VHF television and is owned and operated by LIN TV.

KGSW-TV Channel 14 signed on the air on May 8, 1981. KGSW-TV Channel 14 converted to KASA-TV on April 5, 1993.

KASA FOX 2 is an affiliate of the Fox Broadcasting Company allowing us to offer exciting first-run Fox network television programs. Fox programs air on KASA FOX 2 seven nights a week. KASA FOX 2 also airs Fox Children's Network programming Saturday mornings, broadcast specials, Major League Baseball, Nascar, and the NFC Conference of the NFL. KASA FOX 2 is home to the baseball playoffs, World Series, and the NFC Championship.

KASA FOX 2 is one of 203 Fox affiliates and broadcasts in the new Digital or High Definition Format. Besides quality Fox programming, KASA FOX 2 offers a wide variety of top quality situation comedies, action adventure shows, dramas, children's programming and weekend movies.

Every night, KASA FOX 2 presents News 13 on 2, New Mexico's only primetime newscast at 9pm. 2 KASA FOX anchors keep you up to date with all the top local, regional, national and international stories.

KASA FOX 2 is a full power, 24-hour, VHF stereo television station. KASA FOX 2 transmits from the 10,600 ft. crest of the Sandia Mountains with over 31,000 watts of maximum power. This is the maximum power allowed for the operation of Channel 2 at the height above average terrain. KASA FOX 2 provides a primary television signal to much of northern and central New Mexico.

The station's main signal extends beyond Santa Fe past Espanola to the north, over Grants to the west, to Socorro in the south and east past Las Vegas. Translators extend KASA FOX 2's coverage to Alamogordo, Artesia, Caballo, Carlsbad, Deming, Espanola, Farmington, Grants, Hatch, Hillsboro, Hobbs, Montoya, Raton, Roswell, Ruidoso, Portales, Silver City, Shiprock, Taos, Tohatchi, Truth or Consequences, Bayfield, Cortez, Durango, South Central Colorado and Eastern Arizona. KASA's signal is delivered to Comcast Cable via fiber to insure the clearest and best possible signal to the local metro area via cable.

KASA may also be seen on the Echostar Satellite system (The Dish Network) #776, downlinked from a satellite at 110 degrees.

The KASA FOX 2 studio is located at 13 Broadcast Plaza SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
